BioClean Dublin: a specialist brand for attic cleaning and mould removal in Ireland

The same owner already runs a successful cleaning website in Dublin. A second brand only made sense if it covered different searches. So BioClean has a narrower focus: attic cleaning and mould removal, with pages for areas of Dublin and the surrounding counties.

Project background

About the client and the market

The owner of Dream Cleaning wanted a second brand in the same market. The risk is obvious: two sites from the same owner targeting the same searches compete with each other, and neither gets anywhere.

The answer lay in positioning. While Dream Cleaning covers general cleaning services, BioClean specialises in attic cleaning and mould removal, a common problem in the Irish climate and one people look for a specialist to solve, not a general service.

The challenge

What needed solving

  • Two brands from the same owner that must not compete for the same searches.
  • A specialist service that needs explaining and justifying.
  • A wider area: Dublin, the surrounding counties and the whole of Ireland.
  • Online ordering and quick enquiries from a phone.

The solution

What we did

We built a separate site with its own positioning and keywords. An “Areas We Cover” page leads to nine area pages: North, South and West Dublin, Dublin 4 and 6, Dublin 12, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow and the whole of Ireland. An order form, client testimonials, an FAQ and a blog shorten the path from search to booking.

  • English-language site for the Irish market
  • Positioning: attic cleaning and mould removal
  • A hub page and 9 area pages
  • Service order form
  • Client testimonials and FAQ
  • Yoast SEO and a blog

In detail

How the solution is set up

Separate positioning

BioClean has its own set of keywords, different from Dream Cleaning’s. The two sites don’t compete; together they hold more positions on Google.

Area pages

An “Areas We Cover” hub and 9 area pages, from parts of Dublin to Counties Kildare, Meath and Wicklow. Each page is about attic cleaning and mould in that area.

Online ordering

A service order form and quick enquiries from a phone. Customers can book without calling.

Trust

A testimonials page and an FAQ answer doubts before people order: how long it takes, whether the mould comes back, what is included.

Process

How we worked, step by step

  1. Splitting the searches. We decided which searches Dream Cleaning covers and which BioClean covers.
  2. Positioning. We set BioClean up as the attic and mould specialist.
  3. Area pages. We built a hub and pages for areas in and around Dublin.
  4. Path to an order. We connected the order form, testimonials and FAQ.
  5. Expansion. We extend coverage to new areas when demand shows up.

Visibility in Google and AI search

AI tools recognise two clearly separate brands with consistent data as two entities, so both can appear in recommendations, each for its own need. Someone asking “who removes mould from an attic in Dublin” gets the specialist, not a general service.

FAQs about mould and attics are the format Google uses for direct answers and AI tools use for citations.

Where it stands today

What is on the site today

The state of the site on 1 November 2026:

  • An “Areas We Cover” hub and 9 area pages
  • Order form, client testimonials and FAQ
  • Keywords clearly separated from Dream Cleaning

We don’t publish enquiry figures without the client’s consent.

Lessons

What you can apply to your own project

  • A second brand only makes sense with clearly separate keywords.
  • Specialising is an easier route to the top than a general service.
  • Plan the searches before the build, not after.
  • Fast ordering from a phone is a must for service businesses.

Who this approach is for

Who this approach suits

A second, specialist brand makes sense when one service gets enough searches to justify its own site and the main brand is too broad to be the first choice for it. The key is to split the searches before the build.

  • Owners with several brands in the same market
  • Businesses with one service that calls for a specialist
  • Services covering a city and the surrounding counties
  • Businesses that want online ordering for their service

FAQ

Questions about the BioClean Dublin project

No, as long as they cover different searches and have clearly different positioning.

English, for the Irish market.

People search for the service together with the name of their area. A page for each area covers those searches.

A brand that covers one narrow service, in this case attic cleaning and mould removal, instead of every type of cleaning.

Yes, through the order form on the site.

Key lessons

What BioClean Dublin shows about a second brand in the same market

BioClean Dublin answers a question many owners ask: does it make sense to open a second site for the same line of business? It does, but only if the second brand covers different searches. That is why BioClean Dublin is not a copy of the existing site but a specialist brand for attic cleaning and mould removal.

What turned out to matter most

  • A clear split of topics. The first site covers general cleaning and BioClean Dublin covers narrow, specialist services, so the two sites don’t compete with each other.
  • Area pages. Every area in Dublin and the surrounding counties has its own page describing the service.
  • An expert tone. With mould, customers want the cause explained, not just a price, so BioClean Dublin walks through the process step by step.

If you are thinking about a second brand or a new market, have a look at marketing for the EU market and local SEO. How Google views several sites from the same owner is covered in Google’s spam policies.
