Field services
When a pipe bursts or the air conditioning stops, nobody reads a blog. People pick up their phone, type in the service and call the first company they trust. Our job is to make sure that is you: on Google Maps, in the ads and on a website that leads straight to the call button.
In short
Marketing for tradespeople and service companies has a simple goal: to make the phone ring when someone in your area needs a plumber, an electrician, air conditioning servicing or cleaning. What matters most is your Google Business Profile, reviews, a fast website with a page for each service, and ads shown only in the area you cover.
We measure our marketing for tradespeople in calls and enquiries, not visitor numbers.
What we do
A profile for a business that goes to the customer: service area, services, opening hours and photos of real jobs.
A short message with a link once the job is done. For field services, reviews are the strongest signal for both Google and the customer.
A site that is fast on mobile, with the phone number and call button always visible, WhatsApp, and a quote form where customers can attach a photo of the problem.
A separate page for every service (air conditioning servicing, drain unblocking, deep cleaning) instead of a single list.
Google Ads for high-intent searches (“urgent”, “now”, “near me”) during the hours you take calls.
We track calls from ads, from the map and from the website, so you know how many calls and jobs each channel brings in.
A cleaning company, an air conditioning service or a plumber does not earn money from website visits, but from calls and booked jobs. So the first thing we set up is tracking: calls from the Google profile, clicks on the phone number on the site, WhatsApp messages, submitted forms and calls from ads. Without it, ads get optimised for clicks, and clicks do not pay the bills.
On the website the phone number and call button sit at the top of every page and stay with the visitor as they scroll. The quote form is short and lets customers send a photo, because for many jobs (post-renovation cleaning, house clearances, repairs) a photo shows straight away how much work is involved.
For searches such as “air conditioning service near me” or “flat cleaning in [city]”, Google first shows a map with three businesses. Most calls go to those three. Businesses that travel to the customer can appear on the map without business premises: the address is hidden in the profile and a service area is listed instead. The rules here are strict, so we set the profile up carefully to avoid suspension.
The biggest difference between businesses on the map is reviews: how many, how recent and whether they get replies. We set up a simple system: after every job the customer receives a short message with a review link. We regularly add photos of real work to the profile (before and after cleaning, an installed air conditioner, a finished bathroom). More on this on our local SEO page.
Many services have a clear season: air conditioning servicing before summer, heating and heat pumps in autumn, cleaning before holidays and house moves. We prepare campaigns and content ahead of the season, step them up when searches start and scale them back when your diary is full.
For emergency services we show ads only during the hours you really take calls and only in the area you can reach. An ad shown at midnight for a company that answers from eight in the morning is wasted money.
For Toplotna-pumpa.rs we built a website aimed at searches about cost-efficient heating, with one clear goal: a quote request.
We use the same approach for businesses outside Serbia. For Dream Cleaning in Dublin we built a website with separate pages for each service and area of the city, Google reviews and a WhatsApp button. For Tommy Reinigung in Germany we built a German-language site with pages for house clearances, cleaning and interior work, plus GDPR cookie consent. Google Maps rules are the same everywhere; what changes is the language, the directories and how customers behave.
FAQ
Yes, as a service-area business that goes to the customer. The address is hidden and the profile lists the area you cover. Google has strict rules for these profiles, so the setup needs to be done carefully.
Google Ads brings calls straight away and works well for urgent and seasonal services. Local SEO and Google Maps bring calls without paying per click, but take a few months. We usually start with both, then put more into whichever brings in more jobs.
We set up call tracking for ads, the website and your Google profile. The monthly report shows the number of calls per channel and, combined with your data on booked jobs, how much work came from them.
The profile brings calls, but a website with a separate page for each service helps you show up for more searches and lets customers see your work, your service area and how you operate before they call.

How we work
Most tradespeople and service companies have no time for marketing, so everything has to work without much effort on their side. This is what our marketing for tradespeople looks like in practice.
The right category, service area, opening hours, photos of jobs and regular posts. This is the single most important step for appearing on Google Maps. Google explains how local ranking works in its help centre.
We create a simple link or QR code that the tradesperson sends to the customer once the job is done. More good ratings mean more calls.
Drain unblocking, boiler replacement and air conditioning servicing are three different searches and need three pages. Each one has a clear phone number at the top.
Ads only for your area and only at times when you can answer, with call tracking.
Marketing for tradespeople shows results quickly, because the path from search to call is short. Examples: Dream Cleaning and Urban Werk. See also local SEO.
